What the Owners have to Say;

We love our community for its family atmosphere and open space, yet its ease and close proximity to larger cities. Northern Davidson County offers great schools and small-town activities with short commutes into Winston-Salem, Lexington and High Point.

Our neighborhood provides a fun, safe, family environment great for outdoor activities and getting to know one another. Spring and summer yard parties, sharing garden vegetables, running/walking tracks, and harvest gatherings are all things we look forward to as season’s change.

We love to eat at locally owned restaurants where everyone knows their customers. We also enjoy eating at Milner's, Mozelle's, Firebirds in Winston-Salem; Childress Vineyards, CafĂ© 35, Dion's, Speedy's BBQ in Lexington.

Grocery stores are plentiful within minutes of our home. Trader Joe's, Lowe's Food, Aldi, Costco, Sam's Club are all within a short drive. Also, farm stands are abundant with local farmers selling fresh produce from their curb. We are minutes away from the library, the YMCA, several gyms, movie theaters and winery's.

This area is wonderful for a family looking for a friendly area with open space. Not to mention the picturesque sunsets and sunrises! We love the outdoors, so entertaining on our back deck is always on our calendar. We enjoy running at the local track as well as walking thru the neighbor after dinner. We are cyclists and enjoy the safety this area offers for that as well.

Our utility costs are reasonable and our home is very energy efficient. Our electric company is Energy United, which is a not-for-profit utility company. Profits are returned to members in the form of capital credits which is a plus. Carolane Propane Gas provides us with gas for heat and hot water and Davidson Water is our water provider. They are both locally owned and operated company's which provide exceptional customer service at an economical price. There are several cable and internet options to choose in our area.

The thing we love about North Davidson is that it is a small, close-knit community conveniently located just 15 minutes from Winston-Salem, 25 minutes from High Point and 30 minutes from Greensboro. Residents enjoy low taxes, beautiful country roads and amazing high school sports. This area is a family & community centered place. New residents get an overwhelming feeling of belonging from both the longtime and transplanted ND residents.

There are plenty of local restaurants, some of our favorites are the pizza and subs from Dusina's, Japanese from Kimono's and fine Mediterranean dining at Chef Dion Sprinkle.There are also several grocery stores are conveniently located nearby including Lowe's Foods, Food Lion and Wal-Mart.

We built this home to accommodate our family, out-of-town guests and social gatherings. At the time, there were no homes available with four bedrooms on the main level which was very important to us. We were thrilled with our final result!  Our neighborhood is great for walking, friendly talks with neighbors and being surrounded by beautiful homes.

Our utility costs are quite low compared to our previous homes. Our monthly cost estimates for utilities are the following: Davidson Water, Inc. $27 Enery United (electric) $186.12 Piedmont Natural Gas $15
