What the Sellers have to Say:
Situated between Charlotte and Greensboro, Clemmons has everything an individual, couple or family would need. It has a small town feel yet is abounding with amenities including shops, grocery stores, restaurants, and entertainment.

Our neighborhood is great because it's quiet, biker friendly, has a nearby community pool & is very friendly. We have a neighborhood annual Easter egg hunt, canned food drive, and a FaceBook page so that we can stay in touch with one another & look out for our neighbors if they have a need.

We love to eat at the local Mexican restaurants, Villa Grille across from the awesome Tanglewood park, & the Milner brothers restaurant "Brothers." There really is a restaurant for every price point in Clemmons. Grocery stores nearby include Harris Teeter, Lowe's Foods & Food Lion. All carry organic products as well as their name brand discounted items.

When we bought this home, we were drawn to the traditional brick exterior, lovely sun room, professionally landscaped yard, the 9 foot ceilings, beautiful brick fireplaces, and open kitchen that is truly the heart of this home.  The best thing about this home is it's location. It is right next door to the amazing Tanglewood Park, down the road a bit from farmland, but close enough to the Interstate and downtown Winston-Salem, that we get the "best of both worlds." We have enjoyed horseback riding, the fireworks at Tanglewood Park, running, biking, visiting nearby farms during strawberry & apple picking seasons, as well as walking the neighborhood.

We like the Clemmons area because the schools are highly rated, it is nearby to the interstate (less than 10 minute drive), has a very low crime rate, & still retains a "village" feel. We have enjoyed being out of the hustle & bustle of the city but only minutes from the abundant amenities downtown Winston-Salem offers.

Our utility costs are better than we have experienced in other homes. Our utilities include Duke Power, Piedmont Gas, Waste Management & Winston-Salem Water & Sewer. Our average power bill is under $150/month in the heat of summer & middle of winter! Our average gas bill is less than $30/month. And, our average city water bill is less than $150/month.

What the Seller's have to Say

The things I love about Clemmons are that it is a small quiet town, but still with in close proximity to Winston-Salem. It offers the best of both worlds giving us close access to everyday needs, but yet close enough to "big city" living to enjoy everything that Winston-Salem offers.

We love to eat at 2520 Tavern (2.3 mi), Brother's (4.2 mi), or A Time to Eat (2.6 mi). These three restaurants located nearby on Lewisville/Clemmons Rd are excellent choices very close to our house that offer just about anything that one would want. Grocery stores are plentiful and very convenient. My favorites are Food Lion (3.1 mi) for basic, everyday groceries and Harris Teeter (2.7 mi) when I want to get better meat and vegetables. The Northwest YMCA ( 4.6 mi) is extremely convenient to our location and offers a multitude of activities for people of all ages.

We liked the location of this house close to the end of a dead-end street. It offers quiet living with very little traffic to deal with, while still very convenient to stores, restaurants, etc.

The Winston-Salem / Triad is a great place to live. The schools in WS/Forsyth are very good, especially in the Clemmons area. Our house in Clemmons West is extremely close to Tanglewood Park and all that Tanglewood offers. From golf to concerts, plays, horseback riding, etc., there's plenty to do and enjoy!

We love living in the Triad area with all it has to offer, but living here has also allowed us to enjoy everything places like Charlotte, Boone, and Raleigh-Durham have to offer. From the mountains and white-water rafting to world-class sporting and music events in the big city, this part of the state has something for everyone.

A few other things I can mention is our close proximity to Wake Forest University and all the a school of that stature can offer. From Arts to Sports, we have thoroughly enjoyed the impact Wake has on the community.

Our utilities costs are better than we have experienced in other houses and towns. The utilities include Duke Energy for electricity, Piedmont Natural Gas for gas hot water heater, and City of Winston-Salem for Water/Sewer and Trash/Recycling pickup. Our average cost for these utilities have been $261 per month.

What the Sellers have to Say:

What I love most about this town is the friendly people, the kind that of folks you can strike up friendly conversation with as you're putting away groceries.

Our neighborhood has a similar feel, our neighbors are all very friendly and wave to one another. We enjoy taking walks with our dogs and frequently enjoy walking to picnic areas nearby or just BBQ'ing in our back yard. It's a wonderful feeling to know children can ride bikes without having to fear traffic or comprise their safety.

We were transferred here and have loved it! We are close to the mountains and enjoy hiking and exploring. The Lexington BBQ festival is always a fun experience! There are so many options and so much to do in this centrally located area.

We love the location of our home, everything you could want is in close proximity. There are many places to eat, one of our favorites is Zoe's Southern Grill. They have wonderful fish, lasagna, and their carrot cake is amazing! There are also several pizza's close by that we enjoy eating at, such as Hungry Howie's Pizza.

There are several Grocery Stores nearby to choose from! Food Lion, Lowes Foods, Wal-Mart and wonderful meat market right up the street!

The schools in Davidson County are by far, the best around. Both the educators and participation of the parents help keep schools at top notch levels. Football Friday Nights with the N. Davidson Knights is big fun!

Energy costs with Energy United has been better than expected, our home must have great insulation. With several people in our home it was nice to know we were never going to receive a "shocking" bill from the energy company. Our home seems to perform very efficently which helps to keep costs down.

What the Seller has to Say:

The things I love about Lewisville are: friendly, close to a bigger city, rural location, and progressing community and government.

My neighborhood is great if you want a family environment, walking, running, biking, exercising pets, or waving at neighbors as they pass by. It is quiet neighborhood that is respectful of your privacy, and it does have a community watch program.

When I bought the property I was drawn to the small town atmosphere, rural country side location, and the positive community/local government that keeps its citizens in the loop.

We love Alex's Grill and Liberty restaurant. We also have a local pub, a great pizza restaurant, and a Chinese take-out restaurant. Pig Pickings BBQ is the best. There are no fast food places. Close by we have Dairy-O, Dunkin Doughnuts, Cracker Barrel, and a Mexican Restaurant in Clemmons.

I love to shop at Food Lion and Lowes Grocery. Close by we also have a Walmart Grocery or you can go to Clemmons to the local fruit and vegetable stand.

I was attracted to the location of this area because it was close to a big city, the mountains, and within 4-5 hours to the beach. It is a small town with only one stop light. Lewisville Elementary, West Forsyth High, and Meadowlark Middle are all excellent schools. We have two great parks, a town square, many community celebrations including our famous 4th of July fireworks, and our local parade at Christmas. Our fire department is fantastic. We have two banks and a public library.

When my children were young they were members of the local scouting program, t-ball, and soccer team. We enjoy attending our local Moravian church. There are several community pools, another park close by with a pond to fish in or to picnic, and a river landing that offers boating and fishing

There are walking trails at our new park and plenty of playground equipment for children to play on at both parks. There are also a few horse farms for training and boarding.

My average utility costs are much better than I expected. I have Duke Electric for electricity with an average bill of $140 a month. I use Suburban Propane for my natural gas with an average bill of $70 a month. Our water and sewage is provided by the city of Winston-Salem and Waste Management provides our garbage collection and recycling. The average cost ranges between $30-42 monthly. TWC is my cable and internet service.
