We love the feeling of community in Clemmons. We appreciate having that "small town feel," yet we are so close to Winston­Salem and all it has to offer. Almost every place we go in town, we are met with a familiar and friendly face. Some of our favorite Clemmons stops are the Jerry Long YMCA, many of the restaurants on Lewisville­ Clemmons Road, story time at the Clemmons library and Tanglewood Park (especially for the Festival of Lights) Springfield Village is a very welcoming and friendly neighborhood where we enjoy hanging out at the park with the kids, taking walks and riding bikes on the sidewalks, trick­or­treating at Halloween and cul­de­sac parties with great neighbors!

We love that our home is on a cul­de­sac with friendly neighbors and not much traffic. We appreciate that the neighborhood park is in our backyard, within easy walking distance, and love how it ensures that no homes will be built behind our house. We truly value our screened­ in porch, utilizing it at least three seasons every year. We love that the home has a great deal of storage space, including a complete attic and plenty of storage inside the two­car basement garage. We appreciate the small­town, community feel of Clemmons but we are only twenty minutes from downtown Winston­Salem and all it has to offer.

We love the fantastic elementary (Southwest ES), middle (Meadowlark MS) and high school (West Forsyth HS), all within just a few minutes' drive. Nearby we also have access to options like Winston­Salem Montessori and Forsyth Country Day School. Our home also offers easy access to Wake Forest University.

Our kids participate in many activities through the Jerry Long YMCA, including swimming, soccer, lacrosse and basketball. The YMCA is only minutes from our home!  We love the lower utility costs provided by the efficient gas systems and the insulated windows and doors in our home.

Lewisville is very family friendly and there is always something taking place in the square. You have banks, supermarket, library and many small shops. You really do not have to leave Lewisville for anything.

Our neighborhood is great for that early morning jog and walk. We love working outside in the garden.

We love to take a neighborhood walk after dinner and we enjoy arriving at this home in this location at end of cul de sac. We really like occasionally having dinner on the Deck while watching our children play in that spacious yard. 

Our favorite restuarant is Cicciones for the Italian dishes. There are plenty of grocery stores, but a favorite would be Lowes and Food Lion. 

The schools are rated the best in Forsyth County. The Lewisville area is very highly desirable due to the schools and family friendly area. 

The utility cost are average with Duke power, Gas is very small with Piedmont, Water is average with the City of Winston Salem and Sewer is average with Aqua.

First is location. Lewisville is a small town so it's quiet, low crime, and very quaint but I'm just minutes from local conveniences. 

Second is schools. Meadowlark is a great school and one of the reasons I moved here because I had planned on adopting a child. 

Third, the house is deceptively big. From the street, it doesn't look as big as it really is. 

Fourth, the layout. My living room is 17'x20' and is open to the dining room and kitchen. It's a big room but can feel remarkably cozy when the fire is lit. People would kill for a living room this big. 

Fifth, the build­in touches. The house contains several build­in bookshelves and storage with a build­in desk and two alcoves, which gives the house a unique feel, not cookie­ cutter.
