What the Owner has to Say:

What I love about Lewisville is the small town feel and cute town square in which community theatre, concerts and summer twilight movies are shown.

My neighborhood is great for caring friends who like to informally gather outside on a pretty spring or fall afternoon/early evening to visit and catch up with the happenings in each other’s lives. Things
I like to do in my neighborhood include taking my dog for a walk in the new Jack Warren Park or up Woodview Ridge Trail which is a gently sloping street... which is good for challenging one’s calf muscles. I really love the proximity of the house to both the Food Lion/River Ridge shopping center and the Lowe’s Foods and old Lewisville Mill coffee and scrapbooking shops.

Some of the things that I really liked about this house when I first saw it was the hardwood flooring, pretty tray ceilings and the amount of light that streams in through the many windows, which especially light up the main living areas on the 2nd floor.  I additionally liked the well-kept houses next to the house that was to become mine.

People should consider moving to Lewisville because it is a very quaint community close to the greater Winston-Salem which means it is a short drive to Hanes Mall and the other cultural happenings within the Winston-Salem as well as the happenings within  Lewisville’s own town square

Other attractions to consider are that this house has private woods in the backyard, as well as a really long walking path through the woods which is nice for enjoying quiet solo walks or walks with your four-legged friends.  Additionally, Annie Moser park with its baseball diamond and tennis courts are a mere 2 miles from the house and the new Jack Warren Park with its walking trail and children’s playground and picnic shelters are perhaps 1.5 miles from the house.  Finally, you can walk to the downtown 4th of July fireworks if you wish.

My utility costs are very reasonable in this house with insulated windows and gas heat.  The Duke Energy bill covers electric including the central air; Piedmont Natural Gas bill is for the gas heat and water heater, and the city of Winston Salem bill is for water/sewer.
