The things I love about my town are the great people who live here, it's a great place to raise a family and it's a big city with a small town feel. The Winston Salem area is wonderful for the small town feel yet close enough to visit the big cities for day trips. 


Our neighborhood is great for family get togethers, walking the dog and meeting new neighbors. When we bought the property we were drawn to the wonderful back yard with a pool, patio and screened in porch. great for entertaining. We also love to walk our dog in the neighborhood with other neighbors doing same. The things I love about Winston Salem is the variety of so many places to visit, including Wake Forest, Old Salem, art galleries and museums. Of course, there's always local baseball and seeking out new barbeque places!Our neighborhood is loaded with friendly neighbors and easy access to Country Club Road!

There are so many delicious choices for restaurants within a 10 minute drive, but our favorites are Wild Wing Cafe and Brixx! For breakfast, the Diner on Country Club is unbeatable! The grocer Harris Teeter is just a short drive and always has something new to try in the deli. 

One of the coolest things about this property is the backyard. Plenty of room for the kids and adults to play and garden.
We love the location of the house - almost at the end of the road. Private, but easily accessible. And of course, listening to rain on the tin roof. 

Winston Salem is such a great town, centrally located in the Piedmont area, where you can always find something to see and do. Our utility bills are easy to manage and better than expected, due to insulation, upkeep and maintenance on the air conditioner and furnace. The things I love about Clemmons are the close knit community, small town living with the convenience of the city only 10 minutes away, and the fantastic schools. The surrounding schools are some of the best in the state. The YMCA is also a couple of miles away. 

We love to eat at Mi Pueblo, Darios, and 2520 Tavern. There are a lot of dining choices in Clemmons. Something for everyone. Grocery stores I like to shop at are Food Lion and Lowes Foods. Publix is opening a new store next year in Clemmons.

When we bought the property we were drawn to the location. It has the convenience of big city living with small town feel. The huge kitchen and outdoor space were the biggest reasons we bought the property. Our sidewalk neighborhood is great for evening strolls and meeting neighbors who are sitting on their front porches. 

Clemmons is a wonderful area to raise children. Tanglewood park is close by and the location just can't be beat.We love to bike and run. This neighborhood is perfect for both. Bicycle lanes are on the main road.

Our utility costs are average. We use Piedmont Natural Gas, Duke-Energy, and City of Winston Salem.

We were immediately drawn to the available space of this house. There is an abundance of storage room. Also, the wood burning Appalachian Stove in the living area is astounding. It has a blower and can heat the bottom floor on the coldest days in no time at all. Our neighborhood is great for safety. Homeowners can go for a jog, or walk their dog and know that they are safe. There are always children outside playing, and the neighbors are very friendly. 

Our utility costs are reasonable considering the size of the home. Heating costs can be greatly reduced by using the fireplace wood stove insert on the main level. The City of High Point manages electric and water/sewer on one convenient bill. We elected to use North State Communications for our high speed internet and DirecTV for our television choice, but North State offers TV and internet in one convenient fiber optic package.
