What the Seller's have to Say

The things I love about Clemmons are that it is a small quiet town, but still with in close proximity to Winston-Salem. It offers the best of both worlds giving us close access to everyday needs, but yet close enough to "big city" living to enjoy everything that Winston-Salem offers.

We love to eat at 2520 Tavern (2.3 mi), Brother's (4.2 mi), or A Time to Eat (2.6 mi). These three restaurants located nearby on Lewisville/Clemmons Rd are excellent choices very close to our house that offer just about anything that one would want. Grocery stores are plentiful and very convenient. My favorites are Food Lion (3.1 mi) for basic, everyday groceries and Harris Teeter (2.7 mi) when I want to get better meat and vegetables. The Northwest YMCA ( 4.6 mi) is extremely convenient to our location and offers a multitude of activities for people of all ages.

We liked the location of this house close to the end of a dead-end street. It offers quiet living with very little traffic to deal with, while still very convenient to stores, restaurants, etc.

The Winston-Salem / Triad is a great place to live. The schools in WS/Forsyth are very good, especially in the Clemmons area. Our house in Clemmons West is extremely close to Tanglewood Park and all that Tanglewood offers. From golf to concerts, plays, horseback riding, etc., there's plenty to do and enjoy!

We love living in the Triad area with all it has to offer, but living here has also allowed us to enjoy everything places like Charlotte, Boone, and Raleigh-Durham have to offer. From the mountains and white-water rafting to world-class sporting and music events in the big city, this part of the state has something for everyone.

A few other things I can mention is our close proximity to Wake Forest University and all the a school of that stature can offer. From Arts to Sports, we have thoroughly enjoyed the impact Wake has on the community.

Our utilities costs are better than we have experienced in other houses and towns. The utilities include Duke Energy for electricity, Piedmont Natural Gas for gas hot water heater, and City of Winston-Salem for Water/Sewer and Trash/Recycling pickup. Our average cost for these utilities have been $261 per month.
